We are thrilled to have a new Wedding VUE featuring Heather and Ryan! Our blog series celebrating love, weddings, and some amazing brides-to-be is back. Please introduce yourself and tell us more about you and your fiancé?

Our names are Heather and Ryan. We both work as Radiologic Technologists for the last few years! We both were born is Wisconsin, but just recently have relocated south to Charleston, South Carolina. We both love traveling and exploring new cities and trying out new restaurants and bars in our spare time. Ryan proposed to me at the gorgeous Lake Louise in Banff, Canada and it was the most stunning/amazing trip of my life.

Tell us about your wedding, have you started planning? How would you describe your wedding style?

Our wedding is an airy, natural, romantic theme. Our venue is outdoors surrounded by Spanish moss and greenery. The wedding colors I’m using are a deep green with accents of pale pinks and golds. Rustic with modern accents. We are going very southern and having a build your own biscuit bar as our cocktail hour food.

What elements did you add to ensure that the wedding was authentically true to yourself and your relationship?

I think what makes our wedding authentically true to us is that it’s going to be quite intimate. I’d say roughly under 100 of our closest family and friends all gathered together. We decided to do intimate vows during our first look instead of saying them in front of everyone which is something I always wanted because it feels that much more special and sacred.

Are you doing anything different or out of the ordinary?

As of now nothing different or out of the ordinary for our wedding. Though I suppose you could say a build your own biscuit bar is pretty different compared to any wedding I’ve been to.

If your wedding day was made into a movie, what do you think the name of the movie would be?

As far as a movie title for our wedding, I think I would call it a Patch made in Heaven because that’s what we plan to have as our wedding hashtag.

Cheers Heather and Ryan! And thank you for sharing your upcoming wedding with us. You can find Heather and all of her great fashion and lifestyle tips on her Instagram: @heatherlo_
